The C3S Series EziJac is a modular hydraulic bolt tensioner with an integrated spring return mechanism, designed for high performance and long service life in difficult nut locations. The system automatically resets the tool to its full working stroke after each use, significantly reducing assembly time for critical jointing applications, and its modular design allows multiple adaptor kits to be interchanged with a single load cell. The tool tensions the bolt hydraulically to the exact load required, after which the standard nut is wound down to retain the load; on depressurisation the spring return retracts the piston and resets the tool. Remote pumping keeps operators clear of the work area, and multiple units interlink for simultaneous flange tensioning and even gasket compression. Features include the modular adaptor kit design, spring return piston, integrated stroke indicator, nitrile components, leak-free low-friction seals, an optional second port for interconnection and a compact profile.
